We continue to follow Thunder players in other professional leagues in the offseason – at this point it looks like former Thunder linebacker T.J. Fatinikun is the only player who will be playing this weekend, as he’ll take the field for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Eric Rogers made a strong case for a spot on the CFL’s Calgary Stampeders’ playoff roster, catching four passes for 77 yards and two touchdowns. With two games played for Calgary, he’s tied for fourth on the team with those two touchdown receptions. The Stampeders finished with the best record in the league, so they’re on a bye this week as Edmonton and Saskatchewan battle to see who’s going to play them in the Western Final.
Douglas McNeil continues to enjoy his time in Denver, though he remains on the practice squad and will not play tomorrow.
Here’s the schedule for games involving Thunder players’ teams this weekend:
- Tampa Bay @ Washington: 10 a.m., FOX
- Denver @ St. Louis, 10 a.m., CBS
